The imposing façade of this cultural centre in Famagusta hides another heart-breaking story of the occupied city. Oblivious to the fact that their own city would soon be invaded too, the people of Famagusta collected clothes for the refugees, who just a few weeks before were forced by the Turkish army to flee their homes.  46 years later, the clothes they collected remain thrown on the floor of the main hall, silently witnessing the Cypriot tragedy.
